Our Technical Segment

Meet Our Unique, adaptive and technologically advanced team.

It’s well-accepted. Technology makes our lives easier – whether it’s used for communicating or counting calories. Over the past decade, technology has advanced at a rate of over 300%, changing the way society functions. In contrast, building tech requires skill, time, and most importantly, a team of dedicated experts. Luckily, our technical team at Padath Infotainment in Kochi is highly capable of tech development. Bring the efficient and up-to-date world of #Pi-Tech to your web applications, mobile app development,  website development, and security systems, and witness the difference first-hand.

THE PROCESS

OUR WORK CYCLE

01.
Planning

We begin by understanding the technical requirements for the project. We perform feasibility studies to see if it is economically, technically, and operationally desirable.

02.
Definition

Next, we create documentation which entails the end-user requirements. This is done in the technical format that will be used to design the system.

03.
Design

After that, we focus on creating a guide that will be used during the development phase of the project. This includes the high-level design specifications or the architecture used for development.

04.
Development

After the designs are reviewed and approved, we will go forward with developing the software project. The foolproof strategy formed by the first three steps will ensure a smooth development phase.

05.
Testing

In this phase, we test the developed project in terms of integration and user acceptance. We analyze the project for any bugs and correct them if any. Once we’ve met the requirements we move forward to the next step.

06.
Deployment

Deployment entails precise planning if the new system is replacing an older one. We supervise the transfer of data, and instalment of extra software & hardware required so that the target audience can start using it.

07.
Maintenance

The final step is to ensure the maintenance of the software deployed. This includes repairs, patching, and updation that does not require making huge changes to the software design.

The Roots of Software

GETTING INTO THE CODE

The Pi-Tech team is adept at working with a broad spectrum of software frameworks and programming languages. We constantly update our knowledge about new and existing frameworks, after which, identifying and working with the appropriate one for a project is a quick and easy task.

NODE.JS.

Node.js is a platform built on Chrome’s JavaScript runtime for easily constructing fast and scalable network applications. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.

GO.

Go OR Golang is a system-level language, designed at Google by Robert Griesemer, Rob Pike, and Ken Thompson. It is an alternative to C++ and Java and is used for programming across large-scale network servers and big distributed systems.

PHP.

Hypertext Preprocessor or PHP is one of the most popular server-side scripting languages used currently. There are several boons related to PHP that have made it a widely-accepted coding language across the globe. It can be used in conjugation with HTML code and even several other templating engines/web frameworks.

ANDROID.

Android is one of the most popular and successful mobile operating systems of the present day. It is a software stack for devices such as tablets, smartphones, phablets etc. It comprises of an operating system, key applications and a middleware. It allows devices to communicate with each other, enabling rich peer-to-peer social applications. Our expert team of designers and developers are dedicated to Android development.

IOS.

iOS application development has set a standard in the field of mobile technology within a short period of time. As a matter of fact, more than 1.2 million iOS applications have been showcased in the App Store so far and most of the apps, especially the ones that were optimized for iPad, have achieved a benchmark of more than 60 billion downloads.

Our services with iOS software include widget development services, custom application development, porting and migration, custom software development, software maintenance and support.

REACT NATIVE.

Mobile app development is a costly affair and building a native application across different platforms can be an expensive business. This is one of the major reasons why more and more companies are opting for React Native mobile apps which uses the open-source mobile SDK framework for native mobile app development. React Native mobile apps enable developers to create high performing and alluring mobile apps that cater to both front-end and back-end processes.

REACT JS.

React.JS is an open-source JavaScript library that is used for building user interfaces specifically for single-page applications. It’s used for handling the view layer for web and mobile apps. React also allows us to create reusable UI components.

ANGULARJS.

AngularJS is a structural framework for dynamic web applications or in other words, an open-source JavaScript framework developed and maintained by Google. It lets you use HTML as your template language and extends HTML syntax to express your application’s components clearly and succinctly.

The working of AngularJS is largely guided by two principles. First is declarative programming, which is believed to be used for designing user interface and second is imperative programming.

VUE.JS.

A progressive open-source JavaScript framework, used for constructing user interfaces and single-page applications. It is popular because it is easily adaptable and can be learnt quickly.

BACKBONE.JS.

Backbone.JS is a lightweight JavaScript library that allows us to develop and structure client-side applications which run in a web browser. It offers MVC framework which abstracts data into models, DOM into views and binds these two using events.

MONGODB.

MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented database system that avoids using the traditional table-based relational database structure in favour of JSON-like documents with dynamic schemas making the integration of data in certain types of applications easier and faster.

CASSANDRA.

Apache Cassandra is a free and open-source distributed database management system designed to handle large amounts of data across many commodity servers, providing high availability with no single point of failure. Cassandra offers robust support for clusters spanning multiple data centers, with asynchronous masterless replication, allowing low latency operations for all clients.

Cassandra also places a high value on performance. In 2012, University of Toronto researchers studying NoSQL systems concluded that “In terms of scalability, there is a clear winner throughout our experiments. Cassandra achieves the highest throughput for the maximum number of nodes in all experiments” although “this comes at the price of high write and read latencies”.

MSSQL SERVER.

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. As a database server, it is a software product with the primary function of storing and retrieving data as requested by other software applications which may run either on the same computer or on another computer across a network (including the Internet).

MYSQL.

MySQL, an open-source RDBMS or relational database management system is a widely-used open source client-server, across the globe. Widely preferred as the database for most of the web applications, the popularity of MySQL is peaking with time. MySQL is also the pivotal link that binds together the individual components of LAMP application stacks like Linux, Apache, MySQL and Perl/PHP/Python. Today, there are several applications that use this database and the prominent ones in this list include Joomla, WordPress, Drupal etc. You can also associate the usage of this relational database with the web giants like Google, Twitter, Facebook etc.

WORDPRESS.

WordPress has been categorized as a content management system (CMS) which is also renowned as a free open-source blogging tool. This content management system is formulated based on PHP and MySQL. Currently, WordPress is rated as the most popularly used blogging system across the web. As a matter of fact, this CMS has been used by more than 60 million websites. The WordPress platform has been around for so many years, moreover, it has been improving day in and day out and is hence, associated with a bright future.

SHOPIFY.

Written in the programming language, Ruby, Shopify has created Liquid, which is an open-source template language. Shopify is easy to work with and widely used. It is also popular because the logistical steps needed for deploying a domain are fewer than on Magento.

MAGENTO.

Magento is the ideal content management system for e-commerce website development. Magento is renowned for providing peerless versatility and control over the appearance as well as the content included on any e-commerce website.

OPENCART.
